The Avon Band & Orchestra Boosters (ABOB) was established in 1995 with the purpose to support the Directors, Advisors and Assistants of Avon School District’s Band and Orchestra music programs in grades 6-12 to promote creative musical activity among the students.
This is a cafe-style musical gathering where we’ll enjoy warm beverages and sweet treats while listening to amazing music from all 3 Avon Jazz Bands (AMS, Funk Unit & Big Band) as well as Wired (AMS Orchestra).
We have a variety of wonderful LOCAL VENDORS who will have booths where you can do your holiday shopping. Follow along on the ABOB Facebook page this week as Vendor spotlight posts will give you a preview of the shopping opportunities.

Our biggest need now is for help on the day of the event. There are 2 shifts (7-10 and 10-1). We will happily accommodate anyone so they can watch their child's performance if it falls during their shift.

In less than 1 month we have our biggest fundraiser of the year! This involves every performing band and orchestra from 6th-12th grade. You get to watch your student perform, enjoy some treats, and bid on a plethora of raffle baskets! This event takes a village, so keep an eye out and please plan to sign up to help in any way that you can.
In the meantime, we are still happily taking personal or business donations to fill our raffle baskets. If you own a business, or know someone that does, and would like to donate either a complete basket ($50-100 value) or any items/gift certificates to add to a basket, please let us know by either replying to this email or filling out the signup form that will be sent in our next email.

We are now accepting senior scholarship applications. ABOB awards up to 10 senior scholarships, based on participation, leadership, achievements, and character. If you have a HS senior currently enrolled in any of the band/orchestra programs, they may apply. Applications are exclusively done via google form.
Forms must be completed by March 16th, 2026.
